Team STIHL' s Tom Dropik will be venturing in to new and exciting territory this year in the Dock Jumping arena. Tom's 7 year old daughter McKenzie is old enough to compete in the Junior Handler division this year. Team STIHL  is proud to announce that Mckenzie has taken over the training of Rocky, Tom's champion power house black Labrador Retriever, and has also taken over the handling of Rocky on the dock.

"I'll be starting my 11th year of jumping dogs this year" says Tom. "This is Very Exciting to be adding McKenzie to our team".
"It's amazing what Mckenzie has already done with Rocky in the field" says Tom. "With her natural love and chemistry with dogs and Rocky's natural abilities, I think they'll be a very exciting team to watch on the dock"

Tom has a new work in progress, a 1 year old male Black Labrador named Jimmy.

DockDogs will be hosting 3 National Events in the Midwest this year. Big Jumping Dogs from all over the Country will gather at these event  in hopes of qualifying for a trip to the
2010 DockDogs World Championships.

DockDogs will have non stop action including:
Big Air - all about distance
Extreme Vertical - all about Height
Speed Retrieve - all about Speed
Iron Dog - combination of all 3 disciplines
