Hi Tom |

Tucker and I continue to develop new techniques, all of which include exercise, diet and the use of the Vertical Hurdle. Tucker recorded another personal best of 22' 6" at the 2002/2003 Super Retriever Series in Missoula Montana. The Vertical Hurdle continues to be an important part of our training. I received the SportMutt Vertical Hurdle yesterday and am quite impressed with it's quality and construction. I had considered making my own hurdle, but after having one of yours, there is no way I could recommend to anyone to go the "home made" route. This thing is solid and extremely safe. All the features you have included are easy to use and assemble, and best of all for me it is easily portable in any vehicle. Thanks Tom. Hope to meet you at the GOG next year! Mark and Hogan |

Tucker is what we call a "Flat Jumper". He carries plenty of speed down the dock, and has great extension off the end. The problem is he has a tendency to NOT jump up. This causes him to loose distance. After only 2 months of training with the Vertical Hurdle Tucker recorded a personal best of 22' 1" at ESPN's 2002 Great Outdoor Games. That's a 2' 6" improvement from his previous personal best of 19' 7" at ESPN's 2001 Great Outdoor Games . We will continue to use the Hurdle as part of our daily training. Tucker & Tom Dropik |
